Gaurav Jung Pande
Co-Founder
Gaurav Jung Pande is the co-founder of Mero Pratinidhi, a civic-tech initiative making elections in Nepal more inclusive and transparent. He is also the co-founder of PlantSat (Seed Innovations Pvt. Ltd.), an agri-insurtech startup that has leveraged AI and satellite technology to protect over 6,700 farmers in Nepal.
Gaurav graduated with a degree in Economics and Finance from New York University Abu Dhabi, where he studied on a full scholarship. He has held diverse leadership roles globally, including serving as a Princeton in Africa Fellow in Uganda’s renewable energy sector and as CEO for One Month (Adecco Group) in Dubai, where he worked with Fortune 500 executives on regional business strategy. He has also worked as a Product Manager at noon.com, leading cross-functional teams to optimize large-scale e-commerce and food delivery products.
Passionate about bridging technology, finance, and social impact, Gaurav’s work has been recognized by international organizations such as UNDP, GIZ, USAID, KOICA, and NDI. His career is guided by a deep commitment to youth empowerment, civic participation, and building enterprises that create jobs and opportunities in Nepal.
